Delhi University is going to release the DU 2019 sixth cut-off list in online mode. The dates of DU 6th cut-off list 2019 will be officially notified soon. The sixth cut-off list of DU 2019 will be released separately by the 90 colleges of the University of Delhi. The DU sixth cut-off 2019 will contain the minimum marks at which candidates from different categories will be able to apply for the different programs in different colleges of their choice. The cut-off of Delhi University is based on the best of four marks entered by candidates in their application form. Candidates who qualify DU 2019 6th cut-off list will have to attend the counseling process which will be conducted from the third to fourth week of July 2019. During the document verification process, the candidates will have to submit relevant documents and confirm their admission in Delhi University. DU Sixth Cutoff List 2019
After the sixth DU 2019 cut-off is released the admission process will be held in the following steps:
- After the announcement of the cut-off list by the university officials, the candidates must make sure if they satisfy the cut-off of the course and the college they have desired of taking the admission in. Then the candidates will have to log in to their student admission portal and select the desired course and college to generate the DU Admission application form.
- After downloading the Admission application form, the candidates can visit the college campus to complete their admission process in the college along with below given documents:
(i) Class X Board Examination Certificate
(ii) Class X mark sheet (In case of CBSE, mark sheet & certificate are same)
(iii) Class XII mark sheet
(iv) Class XII provisional certificate/ original certificate
(v) Recent character certificate, issued either by the Principal of the school last
attended or Class -1 Gazetted Officer.
(vi) If applicable SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM certificate (In the name of the applicant) issued by
the competent authority.
(vii) If applicable OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate ( In the name of the applicant) caste
must be in the central list issued by http://ncbc.nic.in
(viii) Transfer certificates from school/ college as well as Migration certificate from
Board/ University are required from those students who have passed senior
secondary exam from outside Delhi.
(ix) At least two passport size self-attested photographs.
DU 6th Cutoff List 2019 For Science, Commerce & Arts courses
After completion of the formalities from the candidate’s end, the principal of the college will approve the application form online and thus the payment of admission fee will be made available on the candidate’s dashboard.
- The candidates will have to login into their student portal again to remit the admission fee. Once the fee is paid, the admission process in that particular college is completed.
- If in case the candidates want to take admission in another college course, they will have to make sure first that they are meeting the requisite prevailing cut-off. After confirming that, the candidates will have to follow the following steps:
(i) Cancel your admission online, and pay the requisite Admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.
(ii) Take a printout of the receipt of the cancellation fee. The candidates will have to show the receipt to the college where he/she was admitted initially and withdraw his/her original certificates from the college.
(iii) For the admission in the new college, the candidates will have to follow the above steps. The candidates will only have to pay the balance fee of the new college in which he/she is taking admission. In case of any extra amount paid by the candidates, the money will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidates.

DU 6th cut-off list to be released on August 1
NOTE: There is a high possibility that DU will conduct another extended round of Admission for Undergraduate Courses. As many are aware off, previous year DU conducted 11 rounds for undergraduate admission and this year too many college reports vacant seats in their different courses.
DU also offers religion-based reservation in minority colleges, for instance, Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College has a reservation for Sikh minority and St Stephens has a reservation for Christian minority.
DU 6th cut-off 2019: Different categories
Scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, economically weaker sections, persons with disabilities and Kashmiri migrants are some of the categories.
“Such applicants who will now become eligible after rectification in their respective categories will also be considered for admission in that category in entrance-based undergraduate courses in the subsequent admission lists to be announced as per schedule,” the DU said.
Admissions under this list will take place till August 3. If required, colleges will release the seventh list on August 6.
DU sixth cut-off list for science
Students must note that the seat allotment will depend on the availability of seats. Even if a student has cleared the cut-off, he/she will only get admission if seats are vacant. So students must ensure the same.
