India Today-My Axis and Chanakya exit polls predicted a landslide win for the BJP-led alliance with over 350 seats, while ABP News-Nielsen and Neta-News X said the ruling alliance may fall short of a majority at 267 and 242 seats, respectively.
Exit polls were also divided in their prediction for the most crucial state of Uttar Pradesh with some ABP-Nielsen saying that the BJP’s tally may fall to 22 from 71 while a few others like New 18-Ipsos and News 24-Chanakya tipping its tally over 60 seats.

On the other hand, we can say that Congress isn’t happy after the result of exit polls as they have already started giving the statement. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said, “Exit polls are just to discourage you,” in an audio message. She also urged not to fall for “rumors” and she said that this type of polls is just for the drowning their spirit ahead of the counting of votes on May 23.
Some sources are saying that Shiv Sena is also saying that the Modi govt will get the second term in the Lok Sabha Election 2019.
