On Friday, two different blasts in Pakistan has shook the nation, killing at least two people and many injured, as per to reports. It has been also estimated in the initial reports that at least five other people are injured in this blast.
Two Seprate Blasts In Pakistan
According to the reports, there were two separate blasts in Pakistan on February 5, and one explosive went off near a DC office which is located in Quetta, a southwestern Pakistani city. The video of the blasts have been circulating in social media where the explosion can be seen taking place on the busy street.
As of now, not any organisation or individual has immediately claimed responsibility for the blast. According to the locals, the rescuers immediately transported the bodies as well as the injured people to a nearby hospital after the bombing took place.
Earlier to this blast, another similar explosion took place at the Sibi district of Balochistan, Pakistan. Dawn, a Pak news website, has stated that there are at least 24 people who were injured in the Sibi explosion. The Quetta blast took place on the same day and that too hours after the blast hit Sibi district.
The tension was already rising in Baluchistan for quite some time. A small level revolt in Baluchistan has been also a centre of small rebel groups who are demanding more independence as well as a larger share in the natural resources of the region like gas and oil. However, nothing is made clear regarding the blast and the investigation has been started.
According to the Sibi Station House Officer Wazir Khan Marri, unidentified men who were riding a bike threw the grenade at the chowk. This resulted in wounding many people, which also include two minors. As per to the reports, four of the wounded people from the blast are in critical condition.
The website also reported that the blast area has been sealed by the security forces of Pakistan and the evidence has been collected for further investigation. As of now, the investigation of the scene is taking place and no one has claimed responsibility for these two blasts.
