2 women file lawsuits against Uber over ‘scary’ rides

As per the report of New York Post, 2 women plan to file lawsuits this week against Uber as  their drivers terrorised them and that the company tried to cover it up.

One woman claims that a driver took her to the Upper East Side instead diverted to the Bronx against her will. Finally, she had to jump out at a light. After this incident, She called Uber, she was offered a $20 credit and told that the driver would no longer work for the company.

The second woman claims that she found herself in the back of a car with an insensible driver who turned directly into oncoming traffic at least twice and admitted having driven many hours without sleep.

She also called the company to complain but the trip data had been wiped out, leaving her with no record of the ride and no way to report the driver to the Taxi & Limousine Commission.

The Plaintiffs’ lawyer – Brad Gerstman says that the suits will contend that the company is not properly training its drivers and is making them work long hours
