2nd edition of Satyamev Jayate Show announced by Host Aamir Khan

The Paani Foundation which is set up the Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been working in order to help the people understand the need and learn the art of saving water.

Meanwhile, the Foundation on Monday announced the second edition of ‘Satyamev Jayate Water Cup.’. It is believed that this will be setup with the single motive of extending the watershed management program to 30 tehsils in Maharashtra.

Unlike the first edition, the second edition of the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup will be implemented in the 30 tehsils which ios more than 27 tehsils from the first edition.

The cup is a kind of competition between the numbers of the villages, who looks to compete against each other to win the game by showing their management and water conservation skills of their village.

The second edition of this team will feature a total number of 116 villages will participate in the competition and will work on the total water storage around 13,68,000 liters of water.

Meanwhile, Aamir Kahn told media wing that ” he first edition of water cup was a pilot project and with its success, we now want to extend the watershed management program to 30 more talukas in Maharashtra to make the villages water-sufficient with people’s participation.”

Aamir further added that ” we will look to work together for the drought circumstances in the upcoming time by conserving the amount of water.

Apart from this, Aamir interacted with the children of the farmers that committed suicide in a couple of yers. All these students were studying at the BJS’ educational rehabilitation center of the farmers who committed suicide in the last couple of years.

Well, Aamir has ruled our hearts with his superb performance on screen with his movies, but now, he is even looking to rule our heart by all his social service.
