A bus fell into a canal after the driver lost his control over the vehicle in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district on Tuesday morning. When a bus carrying over 50 passengers and many of them are missing after the bus fell down from a bridge into a canal about 560 KM from a state Bhopal near Patna’s village in MP.

As per the official reports, at least 35 people, including women have died and at least 20 other passengers are missing in an accident. A search and operation are going on said PTI. According to the reports, when the driver lost his control over the vehicle and seven people have been rescued so far. The Chief Minister said ambulance and doctors were also rushed to the incident spot.

According to the local people, around 50 people are on the bus at the time of the accident and the bus fell down in the canal and drowned inside. It is worrying that the vehicle was swept away in the water.

After the incident, State Disaster Relied Force (SDRF) and diver reached the spot in Sidhi, Patna. Also, the water authorities from the Bansagar canal are being released in the Sihawal Canal to get the water level low for the rescue operation.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan taken the notice of the matter and talked with the district collector to control the situation and send a quick rescue team and start relief operations. While Tulsi Silawat, MP Minister said,” It’s an unfortunate incident. CM is taking a minute to minute details of the incident since the accident happened. Two of us are going to Sidhi after his all instructions. I also spoke with the officer and as per the official information, around 30 bodies have been recovered from the spot”.

Also, the State Government have cancelled an event after hearing the accident news, which was going to be attended by Union Home Minister of India, Amit Shah. The Home Minister was all set to attend the event around 11 AM for the inheritor of over one lakh houses which will be constructed in Madhya Pradesh. The houses were going to construct under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
