On 25th August in Canberra a man was captives and detained by police after assaulting four students which went in the Australian university and in its classroom with what one witness described as a willow, university officials and police said regarding the issue.
The reports coming from a variety of news portal said, that approximately 9:15 AM in the Australian National University morning a pupil entered a classroom, to assaulted four other students, the university stated in the statement. Afterward, the police come and took a man into custody, the Australian Capital Territory police said.

The university officials and the Police said that they have no details regarding the same reportedly, and more reports are yet to come out including whether weapons were involved or whether any of the students were wounded and injured. But Max Claessens, a mate of an 18-year-old student told that his friends said that the attacker pulled a cricket or baseball bat out of a bag post that they started hitting other students.
The assailant the statistics student of his class but since 4 weeks no suspicions shows on the person, Claessens said. “It was just out of the blue. Nothing seemed strange about him,” Claessens said. “I’m a bit surprised, to be honest. I didn’t expect something like this to happen. You can’t exactly anticipate someone picking up a cricket bat in a statistics class.”
Video footage from the scene display that the paramedics taking one woman away from a university building on a stretcher, and another shaken-looking woman being helped in the outside of the building on foot. The university said there is no indication or shows that there was any motivated the attack.
“There is no ongoing threat to public safety,” police said in a statement.
The university is said to be situated in the capital city Canberra, of Australia, Canberra, supposed to be that the counseling services was used to being supply and provided to anyone affected by the attack.
