A 29-year-old girl named Geeta, who returned to India from Pakistan on October 26, 2015, after the interruption of Sushma Swaraj, who is Minister of External Affairs. When she was 9-years-old, Geeta’s mother has ended her search for her daughter. There is No Need for the DNA test. When she came back to India in 2015, she was being sent to the hearing and speech learning institute which is run by an Indore-based NGO. Also, The Government took over five years for searching for Geeta’s family, and the search was ended in Parbhani, Maharashtra, where she is learning sign language by NGO named Pahal, which is working for the hearing and speech impaired.
After talking with Dr. Anand Selgaokar of Pahal said that Geeta was sent on July 20, 2020, to Indore-based NGO, Anand Services Society, and NGO’s Gyanendra Purohit came first to Parbhani in December of the last month. The search was started in the four states of the country- Bihar, Telangana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh and the claims were found that they have a blood relationship with Geeta. NGO officer Purohit says that they stopped their search at Meena Waghmare, who is a 71-year-old lady living in the Parbhani district. According to her reports, her daughter Radha (Geeta) went missing.
A 71-years-old lady, Meena told NGO that when her daughter was minor, she met with an incident and had a burn mark on her stomach and when it was being checked, it turned out to be true, said, Mr. Purohit.
When Meena met her daughter (Geeta) after a long time, they get teary. Geeta didn’t understand what her mother saying to her as she is dumb and deaf. They were talking in sign language. Mr. Selgaonkar said that Geeta visited the Parbhani district and then, lifted Sachkhand Express to Amritsar and after that, she boarded in Delhi-Lahore Samjhauta Express.
Selgaonkar also said,” It will be decided by the Government authorities that when the DNA test will conduct and till Geeta will continue her training in Pahal”. According to the reports of Pakistani Media, Geeta was found at a railway station, and at that time, she was around 11-12 years old. A Pakistani organization gave a shelter at their center in Karachi.
Mrs. Bilquees Edhi, who runs a world-famous organization made a close bond with Geeta. She said that the Indian girl Geeta now finally met with her mother and family in Maharastra.
