Cauvery Controversy: Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth & Other Actors Protested

Well, reports are coming that Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth and some other big stares including Ilaiyaraaja, Vijay, Vishal, Vijay Sethupathi, Dhanush, Karthi, Siva Karthikeyan, Vairamuthu, Lingusamy and other protested against Cauvery issues. Also, the said that Chennai Super Kings players must wear black badges during the IPL matches to express their opposition to the Centre which has failed to constitute a Cauvery management board.

Even the superstar Rajinikanth said, “The Centre will be subject to the anger of the Tamil people if it does not form the Cauvery management board. If the IPL games in the city cannot be banned, CSK players must at least wear black badges during the matches as a form of protest.”

He shared his disappointment against appointing of M K Surappa from Karnataka as Anna University vice-chancellor was unacceptable and he added that, “It is not right to play politics with education. Appointing a vice-chancellor from Karnataka at this juncture is wrong.” Also, he said a very deep issue and said Kamal Haasan isn’t an enemy poverty, unemployment and corruption were his real enemies.

He was quite furious and said that we shouldn’t involve sports and sports persons with it. Nadigar Sangam president Nasser, who led the protest Valluvar Kottam, said the film industry also wanted the Sterlite Copper plant in Tuticorin to be shut down. Overall, it is a huge news because they want everyone should support them for this issues and this is really a bad thing.
