Uttar Pradesh: A Dalit Woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men after being held hostage

Well, reports are coming that a 26-Year-old Dalit woman who came to temple for prayer was allegedly gang-raped by three men after they hostage her near Naimisharanya Dham temple. Sources are saying that this whole incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur district late on Monday night as per the police reports. Also, the reports are coming that police have arrested the three men and charged them with gang rape so far and voluntarily causing hurt and insulting the woman.

Also, the sources are saying they also been charged under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. As per the reports these three accused are identified as Ramu, 32, Rameshur Kashyap, 42, and Patru Kashyap, 23. Even the Inspector of Mishrikh police station Ashok Kumar Singh said, “The incident took place around 11 pm on Monday when the woman came to the temple for a special prayer on the occasion of Amavasya or no moon night with her 19-year-old nephew.”

Reports are coming that the men held her hostage when she went to relieve herself and beat up her nephew when he tried to rescue her. Also, the police immediately rushed to the spot when woman’s nephew called UP 100 and arrested the three men from near the crime scene as they were trying to escape. Also, the women have been sent for the medical examination and the accused have been sent to jail after being produced in court on Tuesday.

Overall, this whole news is unexpected and people are talking about this whole thing since the morning. Also, police reports are saying that they are going to do everything under the law and will try to give these accused a big jail time.
