Petrol Diesel Price Hikes again after Oil Companies raises the rate

Well, reports were coming that Petrol Price will touch the sky again and they did, sources are saying that today Petrol Price touched Rs 76.24 per liter and diesel touched Rs 67.57 today as the oil PSUs passed on four weeks of the relentless rise in international oil prices to consumers. In this price hike, we can say that it is increased by 33 paise a liter and a diesel by 26 paise in Delhi and it is highest since the daily price revision came into force in mid-June 2017.

Some sources are saying that these rates will rise in various states too with different numbers by adding the incidence of local sales tax or VAT. Also, the reports are coming that now the Delhi Metro can pull down the metro rates in the capital. Also, the reports are coming that petrol has touched an all-time-high, breaching the previous high of Rs 76.06 touched in Delhi on September 14, 2013. Also, you all should know that Diesel Price is already hiked.

Sources are saying that this time it is the seventh straight day of price increase since oil PSUs on May 14 resumed daily price revision after a 19-day pre-Karnataka poll hiatus. Now, after the end of Karnataka Election, we can say that they have no reason to pull down the prices and they can put it out whenever they want too. Now, you all should know that all petrol prices have been raised by Rs 1.61 a liter and diesel by 1.64 in last one week.

Now, if we talk about the Mumbai then we can say that high local taxes has led a price of Rs 84.07 per liter. Petrol has breached Rs 80 mark in Bhopal (Rs 81.83 a liter), Patna (Rs 81.73), Hyderabad (Rs 80.76) and Srinagar (Rs 80.35), according to the prize notification. Also, the cheapest petrol is available in Panjim where a liter comes for Rs 70.26.
