Pariksha Par Charcha 2.0 Highlights: PM Modi’s Discussion On Exam Stress With 2,000 Students
PM Modi said, “I would request parents, do not assume your children to achieve your unfulfilled dreams. Every child has his or her own potential and strong point… It is vital to recognize these positives of every child. Parents frequently treat the report cards of their children as their visiting cards and that adds additional burden on them which is very unreal and unhealthy”.
He further added, “Only when you take it in spirit and inspire your child a 60 percent holder moves in the direction of 70 or 80 percent. If you only disapprove and scold your child for not getting 90 percent you will discourage your child to start trusting that they are incompetent. This will take their grades more down in the direction of 40 percent”.
As we all know that less than a month is left for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, therefore PM Modi on this topic talk over various methods to handle the exam pressure in the communicating sitting at the Talkatora Stadium where students from all over the nation got an opportunity to take part in the session.
He said, “Our learning cannot be reduced to exams only. Our education must equip us to face various challenges of life as well. I sincerely believe that anything that challenges us, polishes us too. If there is nothing to test us, then we become complacent. There must always be something to challenge us”.
The prime minister guided the students to think for a big goal in your life but also do not get carried away in the course of recognizing them. “While aiming big in life is good, but don’t get so carried away by it that your dreams remain dreams, and you become too old just thinking about it.”
He further added, “If you see yourself far from it, then you know what to do. You must break your dreams into phases and give it a time frame to achieve. You must cross one milestone at a time. Climb from a smaller peak to a larger one”
A student from Tehran, Jairpeet Singh, questioned the prime minister about the necessity to inspire students continually and how it makes children pleased. On this PM Modi replied, “Compare yourself with from your past record, you are your own competition, you break your archives, you will not once have the chance to go down in a trough of misery if you break your records by yourself”.
He also added, “Exams are significant in life, but one should not be strained by it. Ask yourselves if this is an exam of your life or is it just an exam for a specific score like Class 10 or 12. Once you know the answer to this, your burden will decrease”.
When asked from PM Modi about how he manages to work continuously for over 17 hours a day, he responded, “What keeps a mother inspired and thrilled throughout the whole day, doing a lot of things determinedly? The reason is because she does it for her family and their happiness and comfort. Likewise, I truly deliberate all my corresponding countrymen as my family. That is what retains me refreshed, enthused and motivated”.
