Suzuki GSX-S750 2019 Model Launched in India

The 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 inherits its engine from GSX-R series. It continues to be powered by the same 749cc inline 4-stroke, 4-cylinder liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that is capable of producing 114bhp of max power and 81Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike comes with downdraft double-barrel Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system, digital ignition system, and Idle Speed Control (ISC).

The updated Suzuki GSX-S750 features a three-mode Traction Control System (TCS) that helps prevent rear wheel spin. While mode one is for sport riding, mode two can be used in typical road conditions and Mode three during poor conditions.

The all-new GSX-S750 gets twin petal-type discs up front and one at the rear. The bike comes with Nissin Antilock Brake System (ABS) and it monitors wheel speed 50 times per wheel rotation. There is an inverted telescopic suspension at the front and link type at the rear.

The 2019 Suzuki GSX-S750 comes with the LCD instrument panel, which gives relevant information pertaining to speedometer, tachometer, gear position, driving range, dual tripmeters, traction control mode status, fuel consumption, odometer and coolant temperatures.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Vice-President Devashish Handa said, “We are delighted to bring the 2019 edition of GSX-750 in two new colour schemes along with the exciting graphics to build up the style quotient and make it more appealing. We are confident that the exclusivity and the new style will enhance the charisma of the apex predator rider. Since its launch last year, Suzuki GSX-S750 has received an overwhelming response and we wish to continue the momentum with the latest offering.”

The Suzuki GSX-S750 primarily challenges the likes of the Kawasaki Z900 and Triumph Street Triple S and undercuts the two in terms of pricing. While the Z900 can be yours for a price of Rs 7.68 lakh, the Street Triple S will set you back by Rs 8.62 lakh.
