On May 1, 2019, Hero XPulse 200 (carb version), Hero XPulse 200 (FI version), Hero XPulse 200T and Hero Xtreme 200S were launched in India. Next in line is the launch of the new Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure 110. Below are all the important details you need to know about 2019 Maestro Edge 125.

Hero MotoCorp is on a roll with its new offerings and will be introducing the much awaited Maestro Edge 125 and the new Pleasure 110 scooters later this month. The new scooters are scheduled for launch on May 13, 2019, and will take the total number of launches from the company to five this month.
The Hero Maestro Edge 125 has been a long-awaited model from the manufacturer after being first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and shares its underpinnings with the Destini 125 that was launched last year. The Hero Pleasure 110 meanwhile, gets its first comprehensive upgrade with completely revised styling and was spotted uncamouflaged during its TVC shoot.
While Hero MotoCorp has not announced the price of the new Maestro Edge 125, expectations are that the new scooter might be available in the price range of Rs 55,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Hero Maestro Edge 125 rivals will include TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Activa 125.
The Hero Maestro Edge 125 is the sportier sibling of the Destini 125 and will be targeted at a younger set of buyers. The scooter will come with sharp lines, alloy wheels, USB charging, and the company’s i3S start-stop technology to achieve higher efficiency.
Powering the 2019 Maestro Edge 125 will be the engine that features in Hero Destini 125. The scooter will get a 125 cc Energy Boost engine that delivers 8.7 bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque. The unit is a bored out version based on the 110 cc mill and will deliver 8.5 bhp and 10.2 Nm of peak torque. The power delivery though could be tuned for quicker response. The engine will come paired with a CVT unit.
Hero Maestro Edge 125 will get the company’s i3S (Idle-stop-start system) technology. There will be an Integrated Braking System and an optional front disk brake.
As far as the features are concerned, one can expect the new Maestro Edge 125 to be absolutely loaded with them. There will be diamond-cut cast wheels, LED tail-lamp, external fuel filling, mobile charging port, boot lamp, digital-analog meter, side stand indicator, and service due reminder.
The new 125 cc scooter from Hero MotoCorp will be available in four colour options viz. Matt Techno Blue, Matt Red, Matt Brown and Matt Vernier Grey.
