NTA NEET UG Result 2019 Released, Check Merit list, Cut Off, Rank Card at ntaneet.nic.in: The results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2019 is expected to be declared by June 5. The (NEET)-UG 2019 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The result is going to be declared on the official website of NTA the link for which is ntaneet.nic.in. After the NTA NEET UG 2019 results will get declared, all the candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their scores on the official website of NTA.

The NEET (UG) 2019 examination was held on May 5 from 2 pm to 5 pm at several test centres all over the nation. This year, the NEET 2019 was postponed in the state of Odisha because of the cyclone Fani which left the state enormously shattered.

NTA NEET UG Result 2019: Steps to Check and Download
Step 1: In order to download the result, you have to first log on to the official website at ntaneet.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on link that says ‘NEET UG Result 2019’
Step 3: You will be directed to next page where your credentials will be asked.
Step 4: Enter all the required details correctly and click on submit button to complete the process and log in.
Step 5: On submitting the same, NTA NEET UG Result 2019 is going to be displayed on your screen
Step 6: Check and Download your result as well as take a printout of the same for future reference.
NEET UG 2019: Exam details
NEET was a three-hour long exam that comprises of total number of three sections and that is physics, chemistry and biology. Out of the total number of 180 questions, 90 were from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry. The syllabus for preparation comprised of the whole of Class 11 as well 12 standard NCERT textbooks in the corresponding subjects.
NEET UG 2019: Last year result data
In the year 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website announced the results of NEET on June 4 and the link for which was cbseneet.nic.in.
In that examination, Kalpana Kumari topped NEET 2018 with total of 99.99 percentage and has scored total number of 691 marks out of 720 in CBSE NEET Results 2018. Section wise, she has scored 171 out of 180 in physics, 160 out of 180 in Chemistry, and 360 out of 360 in Biology (Biology and Zoology).
Previous year, precisely total number of 13, 26,725 candidates appeared for the medical entrance exam which was conducted on May 6, 2018, and out of the total students appeared in the exam total of 6,34,897 were able to clear it. In NEET 2017, a total of 11, 38,890 candidates appeared and total of 6, 11,739 cleared the test.

NEET Merit List 2019
NTA will release the merit lists for counselling using NEET result 2019. Merit lists will be prepared category wise. They will contain information like the merit rank, marks, roll number and percentile. Please note that reserved category candidates can appear in more than one NEET 2019 merit lists.
The main objective of the agency is to improvise the equity and quality in education by managing research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair as well as international level assessments.
NEET 2019 Result – Cutoff
- Candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifying percentile in NEET 2019 in order to qualify for further admission process.
- Candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR) category are required to score equivalent to at least 50thpercentile and those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to obtain marks equivalent to at least 40thpercentile to be considered for AIQ and state counselling process.

NEET Result 2019 – Percentile score
The percentile of NEET is the minimum scores which must be obtained by aspirants to pass in NEET 2019. As per the official prospectus, the percentile scores are determined on the basis of higher marks secured in NEET 2019 exam.
How NEET 2019 percentile is calculated?
As per the NEET FAQs 2019, published by NTA, “a percentile rank is the percentage of scores that falls below a given score in a group.” Along with this, the authority has also mentioned the formula based on which the NEET percentile score of a candidate will be calculated.
