River Plate on the other hand were busy in training hard at Los Angeles, especially at UCLA, for days.
Chivas and River Plate have only faced each other once and that too way back in an official competition of 2008 Copa Sudamericana, in the quarter-final round. At that event, Guadalajara defeated the Millonarios 4-3 on aggregate.
