Today is the final journey of our former president APJ Abdul Kalam in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. Dr. Kalam was died on 27th of July during a lecture, when he got a sudden heart attack in Shillong. First he was take to delhi’s India Gate to give him tribute, and today he is taking to Rameshwaram his home town for his funeral.
The body of Kalam, also a distinguished scientist and a teacher and popularly known as “People’s President’ and “Missile Man”, reached this Hindu pilgrim town on Wednesday.
Dr Kalam, affectionately known as ‘People’s President’, will be given a state funeral with full military honours at 11 am. He will be buried at Pei Karumbu, near Rameswaram town and close to the sea.
Thousand of people are attending the final journey of Our Missile Man. All the big leaders and politician will also attend the funeral. Pm Modi along with Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi will also visit to Rameshwaram.
