Motorola has recently announced their latest venture I.e Mot X Play and now the news is that this brand new handset is going to hit the market soon on 25th August 2015. but initially UK market will witness these handsets. At the time of announcement, popular android maker did not informed about the price but we can expect this handset to be a mid ranger. There is one online retailer named “Clove” who has already started taking the pre-orders. There are already many handsets present in the mid-range segment I.e LG G3, HTC One M8 eye, Samsung Galaxy S5 etc.
Moto X Play specifications
It sports 5.5” capacitive touch screen display offering screen resolution up to 1080X1920p. It will incorporate 403ppi pixel density with 74.4% of screen-to-body ratio. It also boasts water repellent Nano coating (IP52-certified) which will protect the handset in the wet conditions. Apart from that one also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is powered by cortex A-53 quad core processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz and Cortex A-53 quad core processor which is clocked at 1.0GHz. The processor will be based on Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset and will be coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM. It entails Adreno 405GPU, to enhance the graphics.
Customers will have the choice between two variants I,e one offering 16GB of memory on board while other offering 32GB of internal memory. External memory in both the cases can be expanded up to 128GB. It operates on latest Android 5.1.1Lolipop version.
Coming to the camera front, there is 21MP of snapper provided at the rear with auto focus and dual-LED flash. Other features which it accommodates are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, auto-HDR etc. There is 5MP of camera included at the front to click selfies or for video calling.
It can record the videos of 1080p quality @ 30fps.
It encompasses connectivity features like WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Hotspot, dual-band, Bluetooth V4.0, A2DP, LE, GPS with A-GPS, NFC etc.For now it will be available in black and white colors. It houses 3630mah battery capacity and comes along with fast charging features. The battery promises 48 hours of usage.
It is a dual SIM smart phone which is optional and supports 4G LTE connectivity. It measures 148 x 75 x 10.9 mm (5.83 x 2.95 x 0.43 in) and just weighs 169grams.
