India lift SAFF U-15 Title Third Time, India thrash Nepal 7-0 :- Nowadays, India is doing an exceptional job in sports field and on August 31, India achieved another success when India lift the SAFF U-15 Championships title on Saturday.
India lift SAFF U-15 Title Third Time
With 7-0 scores, India made a remarkable win against Nepal. The star performers of the match who helped the team to win the title with their remarkable goals were: Sridarth Nongmeikapam (51st, 76th, 80th) scored thrice, Maheson Singh (15th), Amandeep (42nd), Sibajit Singh (45th) as well as Himanshu Jangra (65th) scored one apiece at the Kalyani Stadium.
Talking about the 2019 SAFF U–15 Championship, it was the 6th edition of the SAFF U–16 Championship. It was an international football competition held for men who are under−15 national teams organized by SAFF. This season, the tournament was hosted by India at Kalyani Stadium from August 21 and was concluded on August 31, 2019. There were total of five teams from the region who took part in the competition.

However, Bangladesh was the defending champion this season as they have won the previous season title by defeating Pakistan 1(3)−1(2) in penalties shoot out on 3rd November 2018.
Coming back to team India, this win is not just the usual victory as it also meant that India are now the most successful team in the history of the tournament by winning the title for a record third time after earlier wins in the years 2013 and 2017, both of the win which came in Nepal.
The team India was coached by Bibiano Fernandes and the side totally dominated the tournament, scoring 28 goals without granting any in the five matches.
