Joining other popular telecom operators in the country, recently, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has also made the confirmation that it is providing four per cent discount in recharge cost to the customers who have recharged other BSNL accounts. This benefit is just basically giving those people a monetary reward for their actions amid the on-going coronavirus crises.
BSNL Will Offer Benefits to their Subscribers
Previously this month as well, this telecom operator had also announced two other schemes to address the on-going lockdown challenges and those were ‘Apno Ki Madad Se Recharge’ and ‘Ghar Baithe Recharge’.
The ‘Apno ki madad se recharge’ scheme allows the subscribers for requesting a recharge from a friend or your family members. In order to use the ‘Ghar Baithe Recharge’ option, the subscribers was asked to call at the toll free number 5670099 and have to request for a recharge. After which the assigned BSNL executive is going to come at the home of the subscriber and will do the recharge for them manually.
However, both of the challenge were introduced in order to raise the voice on the concern of helping subscribers for getting their prepaid account recharges successfully done, but they didn’t have any kind of cashback offer or any other kind of reward for recharging the accounts of others.
Other than BSNL, other telecom operators such as Vodafone, Airtel, as well as Reliance Jio have already announced cashbacks offers for those users who have recharge for others, and now the BSNL has also added its name to this movement.
In the wake of providing 4 per cent discount to all those users who will recharge for other BSNL accounts, BSNL, for its My BSNL app on Android, has recently released a new version 2.0.46 update.
However, as per to the app changelog, the validity of this offer is going to end on May 31. On the other hand, the main reason to offer the discount is for encouraging the users for helping the not so online-friendly BSNL subscribers for the duration of the pandemic.
Due to the countrywide lockdown in the nation which was implemented from March 25, the subscribers of BSNL are not able to recharge their accounts through conventional means such as retail shops, along with that they are forced to resort to online methods for recharging the prepaid accounts.
