Nokia 5.1 Plus Android 10 Update On Roll In India-Check It Out

HMD Global’s stables recently launched device Nokia 5.1 Plus is soon going to receive Android 10 update. The Finnish company has made an official announcement that Nokia 5.1 Plus will be receiving a Android 10 update, however this will take place only in selected countries, and all the countries won’t be receiving the update. Just like any other previous roll outs of updates, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will also receive the update in a staged manner. According to the HMD Global the phones which will be receiving the Android 10 updates are Nokia 1 Plus. After this Nokia 1, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 3.1 will be getting the updates soon after the release in Nokia 1 Plus.

Nokia 5.1 Plus Android 10 Update On Roll In India-Check It Out

Since HMD Global has decided to roll out the Android 10 update, it has made decisions which includes that almost per cent units which is equivalent to almost 34 countries will receiving the update in the first release wave, and 50 percent units will get the update by May 22 and then 100 percent will be receiving the update till May 24. The countries which will soon be seeing the updates are India, Australia, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Cambodia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Georgia,  Iceland, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Luxemberg, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Netherlands, Nepal, Norway,New Zealand, Russia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Sweden, Vietnam and Uzbekistan. All these countries will be covered under the first wave. The second wave countries are yet to be announced by the company.

The size of the Android 10 update will be 1.3GB and it brings the firmware version up to V3.11A. This information was given in a report by NokiaPowerUser who shared a screenshot of the update on Nokia 5.1 plus. The update will include of many features like the dark mode, smart reply, gesture navigation,along with many more features.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is going to be the 15th smartphone to be receiving the Android 10 update. Before the Nokia 5.1 Plus, HMD Global other phones like Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 2.2. All the other smartphones will be updated in Q2 as per the reports given by the HMD Global. All the Nokia phoneswere launched with a promise that they will be receiving the update two years after their launch.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus was launched in India in 2018. The price at which is was launched was at Rs 10,999. The phone comes with a 5.9-inch HD+ display. The phone also offers a top notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Hello P60 processor which is been incorporated with 3GB RAM and has a storage of 32GB internal storage. There is microSD card which can expand up to 400GB of storage. The phone also consist of two cameras in which one is 13MPcmain camera and a 5MP secondary camera at the rear part, while the front consists of a8MP camera. The phone is packed up with 3060mAh battery.
