Ganesha Chaturthi is a Hindu festival, its celebrations are traditionally held on the 4th day of the first fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada, according to the Hindu calendar. Today is the last day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganesha Chaturthi is an 11-day festival, on which people bring Lord Ganesha idol statue at their home for 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, or 11 days, it depends on the tradition of the family tradition. Normally, it is observed the Sarvajanik Pandals perform the visarjan (Niranjan) of Lord Ganesha on 11th day i.e, Anant Chaturdashi Day. People today immersed the statue of Lord Ganesha in the water of lake, river, or sea. Thousands of devotees join this process. Today is the time for Ganpati Bappa to return to the sea with happiness.

Ganesh Visarjan Procedure
Before taking Ganesh for Visarjan. You should perform Aarti. All family members should be present. Usual Ganesh Mantras and Aarti prayers should be chanted.
The visarjan ritual begins with the Uttarang puja which involves offering five items, namely deep (oil lamps), push (flowers), dhoop (incense), and (fragrance), and naivedya (food) to Ganpati.
After this, all members of the household gather to perform the aarti and sprinkle akshat or raw rice upon the lord.
