Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, Tests Positive For COVID-19 Quarantines at home

The Indian National Congress politicians Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is the Senior Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress expert tested positive for the novel coronavirus and now, he is beneath home quarantine. On 16th October 2020, Friday, he tweeted from his official Twitter handle that “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am in home quarantine. Those who came in contact with me in the last few days may kindly follow the protocol”. After taking concern by doctors he taking all the precautions and measures and strictly follow the protocols of the novel virus which is released by the government of India.

As we all know that the other senior politicians of Congress named Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vora, and Abhishek Singhvi also tested positive for novel coronavirus, and they taking ll the precaution and measures to defeat the virus. As per the reports, the Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi is tested negative but the other two leaders are still under the supervision of doctors.

Apart from Congress, the other parties’ politicians are also tested positive for novel coronaviruses such as Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Pralhad Patel but the good news is that all the leaders are tested negative for the virus but still, they are taking all the measures to avoid the virus. Not only politicians but several peoples of India or all over the world have faced the pandemic but we have to take precautions for it and the main slogan for that is to stay safe and stay home.

For his speedy recovery, many other politicians and his colleague prayed for him include Azad’s party leader Anand Sharma tweeted for him that “Concerned that my friend and LOp in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad have tested COVID positive. Wishing him good and early recovery”.

He is an Indian politician of the Indian National Congress and former Minister of Health and Family Welfare. Currently, he works as the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha. Mr. Azad had created the Congress charge in parliament upon the Centre’s filed charges last month. Amidst the Opposition boycott, he did a meeting with our President Ram Nath Kovind and had a conversation with him about the returning of bills. Talking about the cases by the data of the Indian government then now, India’s cases rise to 73.7 lakh cases with new cases of 63,371 in the last 24 hours.
