Maharashtra and Nashik Schools Reopen From January 4 For Classes 9 to 12

Many schools of country India has decided to open their state schools from the next year. Maharashtra and more states including Nashik were decided that the school in the urban and rural areas will be reopening from January 4 for classes 9 to 12. It is officially announced on Saturday by Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister and Nashik guardian minister Chhagan Bhujbal.

The ministry said further that the school will report from January 4 so, the Zila Parishad and Civic authorities should start the preparations for making the school neet and clean. The schools will be properly managed by school staff. Many more cities of Maharashtra are taking the decision of reopening the schools of their areas with full precautions.

Chhagan Bhujbal also talked with reporters after addressing a review meeting for the Covid-19 situation. The meeting was attended by the minister, officers like Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey, Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) Commissioner Kailas Jadhav, Superintendent Of Police Sachin Patil, Collector Suraj Mandhare, and Zila Parishad CEO Leena Bansod.

Along with this, after the reopening of the school in Nashik during the Covid-19 pandemic, Chaggan Bhujbal announced that the authorities must take the provisions for conducting the Covid-19 test for all the school staff. He said, As per PTI reports,” In view of schools opening on January 4, municipal corporations, council, and health agencies should make micro-planning for Covid tests of teachers and non-teaching staff. All schools must be sanitized over the next few days”. 

Speaking about the vaccination drive for the coronavirus infection, Chhagan Bhujbal said 650 booths will be created to cater to 100 people each day in the district.

The Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the list of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the reopening of the schools in the country during the Covid-19 Pandemic, they officially announced the strict social distancing and staggered shifts of classes in the school.
