Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Khamzat Chimaev announced his retirement after finding Covid-19 symptoms and forced him to remove from UFC Vegas 2021. But the president of UFC, Dana White said that the rising star UFC welterweight star is all ready to give a com back for a June fight.
Khamzat Chimaev Announced Retirement
Khamzat Chimaev took the support of Twitter to announce his retirement, he wrote,” I want to say thank you to everyone for their support in my path in this sport. I think I’m done, yes, I know that I didn’t take the belt, but this is not the most important victory in this life, it may upset you, but my heart and body tell me everything. I want to say a huge thank you to my team”.
After a while, Khamzat shared a story on his Instagram account that was showing his body in the blood of sink. Fans thought that he is still suffering from the effects of Covid-19. After knowing his client’s retirement Abdelaziz took support to share that he will always support his client Chimaev without knowing the reason behind his decision.
Khamzat took to Instagram to thank his all fans to support him on this journey. He also said that it is a time he walked away from fighting. He added that his long life is his first priority, and he doesn’t think that his body will permit him to fight further.
Dana White, UFC President said that Khamzat Chimaev is not retired now. He claimed that Chimaev is emotional because he was unable to take the proper train because of the effects of Covid-19.
Khamzat Chimaev is an undefeated fighter in his professional fighting career. He gave his UFC debut in 2020 and become one of the most famous and unbeatable superstars last year.
