Western Digital brand, SanDisk which works in the Storage device industry has already launched its two solid-state drivers in the Indian market which is the “SanDisk Extreme and SanDisk Extreme Pro SSDs.” The main key highlight of both the models is that they come with a 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption and comes with various storage capacity types. Price & Availability of SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD
SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD comes with different storage capacity ranging from 500GB, 1 TB, 2 TB to 4 TB. The starting price of SanDisk Extreme is 7999 in Indian Rupees. The price for 500 GB storage capacity is Rs. 7999. Whereas the ITB SSD type will be available at a price of Rs. 12999, while 2TB will be available at a price of Rs. 27,499. The price for the 4TB type has not been revealed by SanDisk for now. The first three models of SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD will be available on Flipkart and Amazon while the 4TB model shall be available for sale most probably on April 2021.

SanDisk Extreme Pro also comes with different storage capacity options, which are, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. The starting price of Extreme PRO is 19,999 in Indian Ruppes. The price for 1TB type storage capacity is Rs. 19,999, while the 2TB type will be available at a price of Rs. 34,999. The price for the 4TB type has not been revealed yet. SanDisk Extreme Pro’s first two types, that is, 1TB and 2TB, will be available on online sites Flipkart and Amazon while the 4TB type shall be available next month for sale.

SanDisk Extreme SSD comes with a reading performance speed of up to 1050 MBps and a writing performance of up to 1000 MBps. It comes with a silicon protection shell and has a password facility which uses 256-bit AES encryption hardware for encryption purpose. The SSD can be connected with Windows, USB Type-C phone and Mac and supports Window 8 & 10 and also supports macOS v10.9+ for MAC users. And also comes with a warranty for five-years.
