German automobile brand BMW has launched its brand new model “BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i Sport” at a modest price in India. As per the sources, the model will be available in multiple variants ranging from INR 37.90 lakhs to 42.30 lakhs in India and the ex-showroom price will differ according to the variants. The first variant in the series is, “BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i Sport”, the starting ex-showroom price of which is INR 37.90 lakh in India. The second variant is the “BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i M Sport”, the ex-showroom price of which is around 40.90 lakh. The third variant is “BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Sport Line” and is available at a price of INR 40.40 lakh. While the fourth variant “BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220d M Sport” is available at a price of INR 42.30 lakh. All the variant-wise series of BMW 2 Gran Coupe will be available at all the BMW dealerships in India. Keeping in mind the taste of the customers, the design of the model is very elegant from the outside as well from the inside.
If we talk about the exterior of the car, the car has a trademark BMW kidney grille. The car has LED DRLs headlamps and also has Fog lamps, enhancing the clarity on the road on rainy and foggy days and also has tail LED lights. The car has a rain sensor and has an appealing sunroof, that will allow the buyers to have a good view of the sky. The car has dual tailpipes which will increase the horsepower of the engine and has a modern frameless door, making the car look striking and absolutely luxurious. The car will be available in four different exterior colour alternatives, Melbourne Red, Storm Bay, Black Sapphire and Alpine White.
The interior of the car includes Sport seats in the front along with an electrically adjustable car seating function that can be split into 40-20-40 and can be folded down fully and has an Auto enabled 8.8-inch touchscreen information and entertainment system for Apple Car Play and Android together with a 3D navigation function. It has a digital instrument panel as well as an Analog gauge and multifunctional steering wheel, rear-view camera and a reversing assistant. Inside the car, there are six dimmable lightings setting, while the interior of the vehicle comes with Sensatec Black and Sensatec Oyster Black.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 200i Sports edition has a TwinPower Turbo four cylindrical engine technology, that on 2.0 litre, the car give a maximum power of 190Hp and a peak torque of 280Nm. To transmit power to the front wheels, the engine of the car is paired with 7-speed Steptronic sport automated gears. Within 7.1 seconds, the car can cover a distance from 0 to 100kmph, while the maximum speed of the car is around 240kmph and available in three driving modes including Sporty, Comfort and Eco Pro. Safety of riders is one an important aspect and therefore, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i has six airbags, an Anti-locking braking system, CBC automotive safety system, an electronically controlled parking brake (EPB) system and a side-impact safety protection system and for improving the stability of the vehicle, the car has a dynamic stability control system too.
