He tweeted, “Beware of WhatsApp Pink!!” Informing the users about this malicious app Rajshekhar wrote that this virus has been spread in Whatsapp groups providing you with an APK download link. “Don’t click on any of the links with the name of #WhatsappPink,” he added. He warned that if you click on that link or download the app, then full access to your phone is going to be lost.

According to the recent report by Gadgets 360, Delhi Police inspector Data Ram Yadav has informed Rajaharia about this malicious app. He informed it to Rajaharia after spotting the circulation of the same message/ link in one of their police WhatsApp groups. The app is promising to bring new features along with changing the colour of this messaging app into pink, but nothing is true but just a part of a scam to steal user’s identity and data.
