The wait of farmers for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 8th instalment is finally going to end very soon. Ever since the official announcement for the scheme was made by the government, farmers always eagerly wait for its upcoming instalment. Under this PM Kisan Samman, the eligible farming families receive Rs 2000 in their bank accounts from the Central Government.
For those who are not aware of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, it is basically a government scheme that offers Rs 6,000 funding to the registered beneficiary farmers annually. This annual amount is divided into three instalments and the eligible farmers get Rs 2,000 each in scheduled intervals. As per to this government scheme, all the small, as well as the marginal farmers, are going to get up to Rs 6,000 as minimum income support, each year.
As of now, there has been a total number of 11.74 crore farmers who are registered to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and get Rs 2,000 instalment of at regular intervals. It is a Rs 75,000-crore scheme by the Central government that targets to cover 125 million farmers, regardless of the their landholding size in the country.
Under this scheme, the farmers who have combined landholding or the ownership of up to 2 hectares gets qualified to get registered under this annual financial support. The PM Kisan Samman scheme was initially introduced in December 2018, since then the government has offered a total number of 7 instalments to these registered farmers directly on their bank accounts.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’s 8th instalment
Now, it’s time for the 8th instalment of the scheme for April-July and the registered farmers are going to receive Rs 2,000 rupees in their bank account. However, the official announcement is not made by the government yet but it is most probably expected to happen by the end of April or else after May 2.
In order to check your name on PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’s beneficiaries list or to check your instalment status, all you have to do is to visit the official site at https://pmkisan.gov.in/. On the homepage, go for the ‘Farmer’s Corner Section’ and click on the option that says ‘Beneficiary Status’. Here, you can your application status along with your name on the list with the amount sent to your bank account. At last click on ‘Get data’ after providing any of these– your Aadhar Number, Account Number or else your Mobile Number.
For checking ‘PM Kisan beneficiary list’, simply go to Farmers’ Corner and then click on the beneficiary list. Now, you have to key in your State, District, Village, among other details that have been asked on that page and at last click on Get report.
