On 6th May 2021, that is, on Thursday an official announcement was made by Krafton in which it was stated that the PUBG mobile game will be known as Battleground Mobile India from now onwards. However, so far no announcement regarding the launching date of the game is announced by the developers. Nonetheless, Krafton has unveiled that the pre-registration will go live before the launch of the game.
A website regarding the same has been created by Krafton and the developer of the games have removed all the previous post from the website and have also changed the logo. The developers have also done certain modifications to the privacy policies and have also worked on data security. Date security is one of the topmost priorities of the developers and they are working on it with various partners to assure data security and safety of the Indian users. In the new privacy policy, Krafton has unveiled three divisions of the information that will be collected by them. The first division is the information directly from the user. The second division is the automatic collection of information while the third division is the collection of information by the third parties. The game has also stated how the information of the user collected by them will be used. As per Krafton, our personal info will be kept and refined on the servers of Singapore and India.
However, the company has clearly stated that the information collected by them will be transferred to other regions for the purpose of game service operation and also to meet legal formalities. As previously mentioned, this game will be available only to the users of India and a pre-registration will also take place before the launching of the game in India.
Apart from that, the game shall only be played by users who are 18 or above and the developers have set a limit on the purchase from the in-game store of up to Rs.7000.
