OnePlus has finally launched its long-awaited application called ‘Clipt’ created and developed by the OneLabs team. The best thing about this app is that it offers clipboard-like functionality in several devices which helps its users to send media (text, images, as well as files) from their smartphones to tablets or laptops.
Earlier, the company has also revealed about the app in an official blog post, where they revealed that the upcoming Clipt app is developed by OneLab. This recently launched app acts as a channel for connecting several devices like smartphone and a laptop or tablet. With the help of Clipt, you can even copy texts from your phone and then effortlessly paste it onto your laptop without putting much efforts.
The app basically uses the Google Drive account of its users for transferring text, images, as well as files between your phones and tablets or laptops. However, the users must be logged in with the same Google account on their devices in order to perform these tasks.effortlessly. Meanwhile, the users can not only copy and paste the written text or content, but also they can share photos and files with the help of Clipt app through their Google Drive.
This recently launched app has come out as a big help to the workers or employees who are currently doing work-from-home due to the on-going pandemic situation. With the help of this, they don’t have to follow lengthy process for performing their everyday tasks which involves sending files, images, texts etc.
The Clipt app works in such a way that it creates a link between your devices along with the Chrome extension with the help of which the users can connect their clipboard without putting any effort. As soon as the app is installed in your device, then you can easily copy any text or content from your one device and then paste it on to another device. In the same way, the users can send the images or files to other devices as well. The Clipt app is very helpful for the users who want to share content between their phones and their laptops but don’t want to go through the long process.
Talking about the availability of Clipt, the app is so far available for Android users only. So, the Android smartphones as well as tablets users can access Clipt from the Google Play store. In the meantime, it is also accessible as a Chrome extension for the Windows and Mac users as well. However, the app is currently not available for iOS users but the company has said to launch it very soon.
