One of the most popular car manufacturing firm named Mercedes-Benz has come with its brand new car carrying the model named second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA in the Indian market and it comes with an introductory opening price tag of Rs 42.10 lakh which is for the ex-showroom in India. This car was debut in India at the event named Auto Expo in the month of February last year and it is all set to launch in the last month of the year 2020. Due to the pandemic, the car launching gets delayed and now, after taking all the precautions and measures the car is ready to launch and ready for sale. The car is open for sale in all the markets across the country and also the online order is acceptable and the online order takes place via the gratification automaker’s contactless purchases details.
The new product of the company named 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA carries three options such as GLA 220d, GLA 220d 4MATIC and GLA 200 and the price of the car is mentioned below:
- 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 – Rs 42.10 lakh
- 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA 220d – Rs 43.70 lakh
- 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA 220d 4MATIC – Rs 46.70 lakh
As per the company’s latest reports, the prices of the car will increase up to Rs 1.50 lakh from 1st July 2021.
The car carries the engine configuration of a petrol engine of 1.3-litre turbocharged with the in-line of 4-cylinder and this engine gives the rider a maximum power of 163hp with the peak torque of 250Nm and the engine of the car is mated with the automatic transmission of 7-speed dual-clutch which easily sends front wheels a full power. The company stated that the car can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.7 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 210kmph.
The other variants of the car such as 220d and 220d 4MATIC models carry the same engine of the previously mentioned model with the same diesel engine of 2.0-litre with an in-line 4-cylinder which easily delivers the maximum power of 190hp with the peak torque of 400Nm. The engine of the car is mated with the automatic transmission of 8-speed dual-clutch and the power of the engine is gives the front wheel on 220d while the model 220d 4M gives the power to all the wheels. The model named GLA 220d easily accelerate up to 0-100kmph in just 7.4 seconds and reached the top speed of up to 222kmph while the GLA 220d 4MATIC carries a total of 7.3 seconds to complete 0-100kmph and goes up the top speed of up to 219kmph.
