Every year Google organizes and conducts an annual competition named, “Doodle 4 Google”, and this year too, the technological giant held the “Doodle for Google 2021”, the theme of which was “I am strong because…” at the national level. The results of the same were announced on the NBC Today show and were also released on the homepage of Google on 15th June 2021, that is, on Tuesday. Various children and students from kindergarten to 12th grade and from around 54 states & territories took part in this competition and inspired everyone through their extraordinary and spectacular artwork.

Milo Golding from Lexington, Kentucky is an 11th-grade student and was pronounced as the national winner of the competition by the CEO of Alphabet Inc and its subsidiary Google. Pichai took over his Instagram handle, “@sundarpichai” and asked his team whether he could break out the news to Milo.

Pichai later said that Milo will be rewarded a $30,000 scholarship, and later, he was seen saying that he has heard that Milo wants to study medicines and along with that the winner will be rewarded a prize of $50,000 technology grant for his high school.

As previously mentioned, Milo is an 11th-grade student and resides in Lexington, Kentucky. The current year theme of the Doodle for Google 2021 was “I am strong because…” to which Milo completed it with “finding hope”. While talking to Pichai, Milo said that finding hope is something that he got from his father when he was alive. At the mere age of 13, Milo lost his dear father due to cardiac arrest.

It was these two precious words that helped him in overcoming his state of grief and sorrow and now, all he wishes is to help and support those who are going through the same phase, as he went through. He further stated that hardships and uncertainties are part of life, and all we could simply do is find hope, as it will motivate and encourage us to move forward in our life. Milo then revealed that he wants to pursue medicines and help others so that what he went through, the others do not have to.
