The Powerball jackpot for 16th June 2021, Wednesday was a whopping amount of $40 million. First Five (19-29-34-44-50), Powerball 25 along with the 2x Power Play were the Powerball numbers of the drawing from Wednesday night. On the other hand, the June 16 Wednesday night Powerball jackpot was projected at $40 million, along with the $28.1 million cash option, as per to Powerball website. As per to the officials, the jackpot may possibly escalate if the sales further lottery predictions.
In the meantime, there was no winner of the jackpot, this ultimately increases the jackpot to increase to $52 million. This will also increase the cash option which will be now at $36.6 million for the drawing at Saturday’s night.
Talking about the Mega Millions web portal, it states that Mega Millions was at the $30 million jackpot along with the $20.7 million cash option.
Now, looking at the previously held Saturday night’s drawing winning numbers it was 08-25-34-38-41 and Powerball 10, along with 3x Power Play. Last Saturday i.e. on 12th June 2021, the Powerball jackpot was at the $31 million and has no grand prize winner. Apart from that there was also not a ticket sold which matched all the five white balls in order to get the second-prize of the game which offered $1 million prize.

On 20th January 2021, Wednesday jackpot, a Maryland ticket holder got the $731.1 million jackpot prize. Few days later on Saturday jackpot (January 23) $20 million was won while on January 30 another jackpot was hit.

Previously, the lottery winners residing in the New Jersey were mandatory to be identified. But now the things have changed due to new rules and laws under which the lottery winners can stay anonymous if they want to. This new law for the same was signed by Gov. Phil Murphy and winners can stay anonymous after winning a lottery.
For those who are not aware, the Powerball drawings are held two times a week, that is on Wednesday night and on Saturday night. If anyone has won the jackpot prize in the previous Powerball draw, he/she gets 90 to 365 days to claim their winnings, however, it depends on state laws where you are residing currently. Many of the tickets come with the expiration date that is already printed on them so you don’t have to ask to anyone regarding the dates.
