The Lenovo-owned smartphone company Motorola just added a new smartphone to the list by launching the Motorola Defy Rugged to the Indian market. While launching the smartphone, the company unveiled many things about the smartphone. Motorola Defy Rugged smartphone is an IP68 and has military standards certified to survive in any condition. The company offers that the smartphone is dual-sealed housing and can easily survive for 35 minutes underwater up to 5 feet. Along with water, the smartphone also saves from sand, dust, dirt, and humidity resistance. Also, the smartphone can survive and has the capability to handle MIL-SPEC 810H high temperatures. It is interesting to know that it is washable with soaps which is very amazing news for all the customers.

The smartphone will have a 6.5-inch of HD+ display with 720×1600 pixels of resolution. The large display on the screen is protected with a coating of Gorilla Glass. While the company has revealed that the customers can use Degy Rugged with wet fingers as well. Along with this, it is powered with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 that is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of external storage. Users can expand the smartphone storage up to 512GB by using a MicroSD card inside the smartphone.
With all of this, it will have an Android Version 10 and can be updated to Android Version 11. Alongside, it is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and some amazing shortcut keys to use this smartphone in the easiest way. According to the details, the smartphone will have a price tag of EUR 329 (roughly Rs. 29,000) or GBP 279 (roughly Rs. 28,700). The smartphone will available in 4GB+64GB storage. While you will get this in two colors option – Forged Green and Black colors. In the upcoming weeks, the smartphone will be available in the European and LATAM markets. It is also claimed by the company the price of the smartphone will depend on the country. Also, the customers will get a 2-years of warranty, and the security update of the smartphone will come into the device for two years.
