K. C. Sadananda, the great senior journalist and the media advisors of the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, H.D Kumaraswamy passed away at the age of 49 on Tuesday morning, 6th July 2021 in the M.S. Ramaiah Hospital. As per the reports, the media advisor was feeling restless and complaining about chest pain since Monday night, that is, on 5th July and therefore, with further ado, his family immediately took him to the nearest private hospital in the city. However, on the way to the hospital, the condition of Sadananada started to deteriorate and the pain in his chest heightened.
It has been reported, that team of doctors tried to give Sadananda medical treatment, however, they all proved to be futile in his case. Later, the doctors broke the news of his passing to the family of the deceased and revealed the journalist passed away due to a heart attack. The passing of the journalist came as shocking news for everyone including H.D.
Kumaraswamy, the former CM of Karnataka. Meanwhile, the whole family of Kumaraswamy is devastated by his passing, as they have lost one of the most precious members of their family, as his loss is beyond repair. During the tenure of Kumaraswamy as both the former CM and president of Janata Dal Karnataka State, Sadananda acted as an important media advisor for him.
In addition to that held vast experience in the profession of journalism and has also worked for numerous prominent and significant media house publications including the Bengaluru based Sanjevani, Kannada Prabha, the Karnataka Malla in Mumbai and others. Moreover, he was also a member of the Bengaluru established reporters, Guild.
Many of the associates of Sadananda expressed their sadness on the passing of the journalist, including the reporters of Karantaka Union. Former CM Kumaraswamy too paid his last tribute on his official Twitter account, “@hd_kumaraswamy”. He took over his Twitter handle and wrote, “My forever companion, media secretary and senior journalist, K.C Sadananda has died.
His separation has deeply driven me into great sorrow and pain. Sadananda also demonstrated a sense of duty and sincerity. The pain and grief of his family is mine too. You will always be remembered.” Sadananda was known for his loving and enthusiastic personality and was survived by his wife and a son. We are deeply saddened by his passing. We also pay homage to the late senior journalist, and may his soul rest in peace.
