According to the available details, six golf players, a golf coach of the New Mexico university along with two other people has lost their lives in this collision. Other than the players and coach of the New Mexico University, two people are being assumed to be linked with the pickup truck. All the victims evacuated from the respective vehicles as both vehicles initially fired and burned shortly after the collision. The investigating police officers and the survived victims of this incident have described that the accident had taken place around 08:17 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
The police have identified some victims to be Tyler James, 26; Mauricio Sanchez, 19; Travis Garcia, 19; Jackson Zinn, 22; Karisa Raines, 21; Laci Stone, 18; and Tiago Sousa, 18.
