The whole accident happened at around 05:15 AM on the morning of Sunday on Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven and as per the statement of UHP, a serious and harsh collision and the accident happened on the spot by which the roads of the area has been closed for many hours and there has been a huge traffic jam occurred on the spot which was cleared and managed by the traffic controller and the traffic officials.
According to the statement of the police officials, they stated about the accident that a multi-vehicle crash that closed Interstate 91 northbound in New Haven for part of Monday morning and the crash was first reported shortly after 5:15 AM and the whole northbound side was closed shortly afterwards and the relief and good news about the accident are that there have been no injuries reported by the officials apart from the vehicle damage and all other things.
After the accident, the closure was between exits 6 and 8 and as of 7:50 AM only two right lanes were closed and a narrow band of snow deposited a coating of snow in the area which state police said led to some slick conditions.
