Very shocking and breaking news of the hour is that a small U.S. Navy plane crashed on the evening of Wednesday along Virginia’s Eastern Shore which resulted in the killing of one of the crew members along with giving the injuries to two others. Talking about the accident, then the plane which was an E-2D Hawkeye collided and crashed at around 7:30 PM near Wallops Island and Chincoteague, Va and according to the statement of the Navy which was stated in the early Thursday morning that the Associated Press quoted a Navy officer as stating that the plane had been conducting routine flight operations. The crashing of the plane happened in Chincoteague Bay near the Eastern Shore boundary of Virginia and Maryland and the crash site is about 150 miles southeast of Washington, D.C.
In this serious and harsh accident, one of the crew members was discovered and located dead in the aircraft and the divers from the Fire Department in Worcester County, Md., helped to recover the body. Apart from this, the other two crew members were rescued by the Maryland State Police and sent to Wallops Island to receive treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening. According to the statement of Navy, they stated that the crash was under investigation.
It is yet not stated and released the names of the crew members, stating only that their plane had been assigned to an East Coast Airborne Command and Control Squadron.
