A very shocking and harsh accident and incident happened on Williamsburg Pottery Road near Williamsburg where a serious accident happened and occurred and according to the statement of the Virginia State Police, they stated that a member of Milligan University’s men’s cross country/track and field team was killed and four more were taken to a nearby hospital. The accident happened and occurred at around 6:02 PM and as per the statement of the VSP, it is stated that the five athletes from the university were running on Williamsburg Pottery Road near Williamsburg and when all five were struck by a red two-door sedan. The seniors Alex Mortimer hailed from Lexington, Kentucky and Eli Baldy from Knoxville were seriously injured in the accident and the university stated that Mortimer is presently undergoing treatment and Baldy has been treated and released.
