A very serious and harsh accident happened and occurred at Belmont Park in Mission Beach where the San Diego police were investigating reports of a shooting which was occurred and happened on midnight Sunday. The shooting incident was too dangerous and harsh and the people who saw the incident got panic and rushed away from the spot to save themselves from the incident and shooting that happened on the spot. The police officials and the emergency services are also arrived and reached the spot and started investigating the whole incident and the accident which happened and occurred on the spot. The incident was happened at around 7:30 PM at the amusement park on Mission Boulevard where the gunfire was reported by the police officials and around an hour and a half before the rides and attractions were scheduled to close and the eyewitnesses and the bystanders stated that the gunfire caused visitors to panic and run away frantically from the spot and the police officials and the emergency services also arrived and reached the spot and began the investigation of the accident.

According to the statement of the police officials and the firefighters along with the police radio traffic, it is stated that no victims had turned up as of about 10 PM and in this incident, three people were detained and many of the 911 callers reported listening to many of the gunshots and visiting a gunman running near the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. After the incident and accident, many of the security personnel instructed visitors to clear the site immediately.
One of the witnesses of the incident named Reyna Abarca stated that she along with her family were walking toward the amusement park and they were near a parking lot that was not far from the rollercoaster at the time when she heard six gunshots but firstly, she thought that they were fireworks. After the officers arrived on the spot, the eyewitnesses directed them to a vehicle and then the officers stopped the vehicle in which a passenger ran from the vehicle, but the officers caught up to him and detained him.
