Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana have come up to the attention of people from all across India. As far as Navneet Rana is discussed, she is an independent MP in Maharashtra. She was detained along with her husband by the Mumbai police. They were detailed by the police for chanting Hanuman Chalisa outside the accommodation of the Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. Navneet Rana is the MP from the Bandra Constituency in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The FIR against the MP and her husband has been registered for hurting the religious feeling of the Hindus. It is being said that Navneet Rana was with her husband and she had stated that she would chant Hanuman Chalisa in front of the house of the Maharashtra Cheif Minister Uddhav Thackeray. However, they called off their plan to do so as they came to know about the rally of PM Narendra Modi. The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra “Devendra Fadnavis” came in the support of the discussed independent MP of Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis called the detention of Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana to be illegitimate. The former CM of the state declared the government of Uddhav Thakeray to be a dictatorship.

Now, Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana are saying that they realized that the Indian PM had a plan to visit Mumbai pom Sunday, hence they called off their plan and did nothing wrong by chanting Hanuman Chalisa outside the residence of the Maharashtra CM. Now, they are under the custody of the Mumbai police. As per the sources, Mumbai Police have demanded rigorous police custody for 7 days. However, the court has given Navneet Rana and her husband “Ravi Rana” a sentence of 14 days imprisonment.

on the other side, the lawyer of Navneet Rana and her husband has stated that they would challenge the allegations in the Supreme Court of India so that they may prove themselves to be free from all the fake allegations. In the support of Navneet Rana, the former Maharashtra CM has said that it is illegal to detain a woman at night in a local cell.

They are claiming that they did not harm the religious feeling of anyone. They have the right to profess their religion and they were doing so. Therefore, they were not supposed to be arrested by the Maharashtra Police for the act of chanting Hanuman Chalisa.
