There is news of the shooting of a pregnant lady coming from Kansas City in Missouri, the US. This news has sought the attention of the public because the lady was pregnant and she was shot by police officers. She was shot by two police officers of the Kansas Police Department. As far as we know, the police have stated that the name of the pregnant lady was Leonna Hale. She was a 26-year-old woman who lost her life in an incident. She was a black pregnant lady who died by some police officers.
Consequently, there is mass support coming on the side of Leonna Hale so that they may help the jurisprudence in bringing the real culprits behind the bars. Leonna Hale was shot on Friday, 27th May 2022. She succumbed to her wounds. There are two theories coming related to her killing. Police are claiming that the lady had a weapon thereby she could attack the officers. Hence police had to shoot Leonna Hale in self-defence. On the other side, a witness is claiming that Leonna Hale was shot by the police, and the pregnant woman was not keeping any weapons. She was showing her hands so that she could prove herself to be not carrying any weapons.
Who is Leonna Hale?
The police expressed that they found an armed carjacking in the car of Leonna Hale at the parking lot of the Family Dollar store at Sixth and Prospect Avenues in Kansas City. In the story of the police, the woman was trying to run and the officers had to shoot her. On the other side, a witness claimed that the woman was not trying to mess with officers and she cooperated with the officers.
But the officers shot her. The witness also shared a post on social media therein she uploaded a video of this incident. The viral video is showing the police officers shooting the woman. In addition to that, the viral video is also showing the woman lying on the road bleeding. Although she was pregnant yet the Kansas City police officers handcuffed her and took her to the hospital in handcuffs. As she was bleeding for a long time, the doctors could not save her life. A further police investigation may reveal the truth of this shooting and also express the demise of Leonna Hale. May God give the soul of Leonna Hale a place in Heaven to rest in peace soon.
