Journalist Imran Riaz Khan Arrested In Islamabad Toll Plaza, ‘Treason’ Allegations Explained:- This is so shocking to inform you that the well-known or famous senior journalist and anchorperson of the Express-News was arrested at Islamabad toll plaza at late night. As per reports, there were 17 FIRs filed against Imraan Riaz Khan. After his arrest, he was sent to Islamabad High Court for trial where this is informed that he was charged with a case registered in Punjab. The court said for him to appear in Lahore High Court for further trials. Maybe this will happen that the lawyers of Imraan Khan will appeal in Lahore High Court and also in Attock High Court for his bail. Imraan already appeared in Attock High Court.
According to the reports and situations, this case perhaps can go on for a long time now. People were in hope that he will be released after his trial in court but it came to the fore that, the place where Imraan Riaz Khan was arrested was the area which is located under the Lahore High Court and now according to the court’s order, he will appear in Lahore High Court soon. He was in uncomfortable condition because he was arrested during his trip and he was hooked with handcuffs during his trial and that made him so embarrassed because he already faced it earlier.

He was charged for talking negatively about the states or countries, and also for lying at all.
