A woman Mandeep Kaur who is 30 years old died from her residence in New York on 3rd August 2022 because of domestic violence and she also blamed his parents for this behavior. Her husband’s name is Sandhu from Bariya village and after some years they shifted to New Zealand and he shifted to the US for starting his transportation business. When they shifted there he started behaving badly with her and then she had two daughters with him and she thought everything will get good after the baby but he always wanted a son and this can’t happen so he again started torturing her.

She shared a video of her in which she said she don’t want to live anymore as his husband and his family beats her. She is from a small village and because of dowry they started torturing and beating her. For eight she accepted his behavior and she also said in the video that she don’t want to leave her daughters behind but now she can’t accept this behavior anymore. She said that her husband also has extramarital affairs and always comes late in home at night. Her family has registered a police complaint against him and an investigation will be done into this case.

Mandeep’s parents are asking for her dead body so they can do her funeral and an organization also came in support of her justice that there are many other women who are suffering from the same. The director of US Satnam Singh Chahal said to Indian Express that there are many women who are facing this same situation and are silent because this will tarnish their image but the image will tarnish of the man who did this to them.
