This year Ranveer Singh starrer historical drama “Bajirao Mastani” did extremely well business at the box offices in the domestic sector. Even it actually overshadowed the movie “Dilwale” which features SRK in the lead role.
Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Dilwale” indeed managed to well at the overseas box office. At the worldwide box office, “Dilwale” managed to earn more than “Bajirao Mastani” after their 17-day theatrical run.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historic period drama has been collected Rs 321 crore at the worldwide box office, and “Dilwale” has been collected total amount of Rs 350 crore.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are also played important roles in the movie “Bajirao Mastani”. The film has managed to earn more than Rs 162.35 crore net and in the domestic market the film collected Rs 231.93. In the 17 days the historical drama collected Rs 90 crore in overseas market.
The trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the movie “Bajirao Mastani”, “Most films don’t run for more than 2/3 weeks. But #BajiraoMastani completes 50 days. Enters 8th Week. Wow!” The ‘Gunday’ actor replied Taran writing, ‘Wow indeed, Sir !!!”

The latest report for the movie “Bajirao Mastani” is saying that the film completed 50 days in the theatre and it has been collected Rs. 350 crore INR at the Box-Office, and emerged as one of the most commercial successful film of the year.
While, “Dilwale” is managed to do well only in the overseas market but the domestic collection of the movie is somehow disappointing for the distributers. The film managed to earned Rs 148 crore net income from the domestic box office market and in the overseas the movie has been collected Rs 175.71 crore.
Apart from SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kirti Sanon plays other supporting roles in the movie and it has been directed by one of the most commercially successful director Rohit Shetty. Rohit Shetty proved his charisma in every movie of him including “Singham Series” and “Chennai Express” but he fails to repeats the same with “Dilwale”.
