According to the reports, this horrifying crash incident happened on Friday 25 August 2023 at around 4:17 pm. In this accident, a semi and parked car were involved and this incident took place in West Lafayette. A woman died in this crash incident and was confirmed dead at the incident scene. West Lafayette Police Department and the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office were called to the incident place to assist police. After this crash incident, the WLP Department responded to a report about a crash between a semi and two other vehicles. The police immediately arrived at the incident scene, an intersection near Robinson and Dehart streets and they discovered a woman who had died in the crash.
Woman Killed in a West Lafayette Fatality
As per the sources and reports, WLPDs shared in thier preliminary investigation that this accident happened when a southbound car swerved and struck a parked vehicle on Robinson Street. The collision pushed the southbound vehicle back into the northbound side of the road which resulted in a terrible crash. It collided with a semi after this collision and the vehicle made its way in front of northbound traffic. The man who was driving the semi was also injured and admitted to a local hospital for a blood test and treatment.
Police shared that there was no involvement or presence of drugs and alcohol in this crash. In this crash, a woman died and the authorities didn’t reveal the name of the deceased woman.
