According to the current reports, it has been revealed that the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is not able to establish communication with the instruments sent to the moon, Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover, and now there are increasing concerns about the operational status of this matter. Not only this but in such a situation, despite repeated attempts, no signal is being received from the lunar explorers. It is being told that after a 40-day journey through space, on August 23, the unknown moon had reached the southern polar region and after that, there has been no trace of it.
Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram, Rover Pragyan Dead
If we go deeper into this matter, then Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover had successfully completed their initial tasks, after which further success was predicted, and only after this, on September 2, this instrument was put in sleep mode. Covering a distance of more than 100 meters and reaching the lunar surface, the rover identified Shiva Shakti Bindu. It was said that the rover had confirmed the presence of sulfur, iron, oxygen, and other elements on the moon, which is a very big thing. However, ISRO is still hopeful that the lander sent to the moon might establish a connection again.
Not accepting defeat, ISRO has said that it will continue its efforts to establish contact with the lander and rover till the next lunar sunset on 30 September. The agency has said with all its hope that the instruments will probably be returned after sunrise at Shivshakti Point where both the landers are present. However, it has not been confirmed as to when Chandrayaan-3 instruments will be contacted.
