The victim has been identified as Bijender, hailing from Faridabad in Haryana.

The police control center received a call at 3:24 am, reporting a car dragging a body. Subsequently, at 4:11 am, another call came in, indicating the presence of a woman’s body on the road. In response to this information, the police promptly alerted officers stationed at checkpoints and initiated a search for the vehicle, as per the news agency ANI. Anjali, the woman in question, was a resident of Aman Vihar. She is survived by her mother, four sisters, and two brothers, with one aged nine and the other thirteen. Anjali held the position of the eldest sibling, and her father had passed away some years prior.
According to the report, the most frequently stolen cars in India are the Maruti Wagon R and Maruti Swift, which share the top spot. These are closely followed by the Hyundai Creta. Occupying the third, fourth, and fifth positions are the Hyundai Santro, Honda City, and Hyundai i10, respectively. The report indicates that thieves tend to target cars with high demand, often linked to longer delivery timelines.
When it comes to the color of stolen vehicles, white cars are the most commonly stolen in Delhi-NCR. Concerning two-wheelers, India’s best-selling motorbike, the Hero Splendor, tops the list as the most frequently stolen bike in Delhi. It is followed by the Honda Activa, TVS Pulsar, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, and the TVS Apache, taking the third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively.
