T20 World Cup : Yuvraj Singh Leave Out to play Semi-Finals Against West Indies Due to Injury

As we all have seen that Yuvraj Singh picked up an ankle injury during the India vs Australia match of T20 World Cup Quarter Final in Mohali on Sunday.

Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out to play in semi-finals of India vs West Indies of the T20 World Cup. The all-rounder  star injured his ankle while batting in the crucial Group 2 match of the Super 10 stage against Australia in Mohali on Sunday.

Yuvraj also hold the vital wicket of Steven Smith. The Australian captain was controversially given out caught behind by MS Dhoni.

But now, India is going to miss Yuvraj in Thursday’s T20 World Cup semifinal against the West Indies in Mumbai. Manish Pandey has replaced Yuvraj, who scored a crucial 21 runs against Australia.

Pandey is right-handed, who made a century in his last appearance for India – in the fifth and final One-Day International against Australia in Sydney, reached in Mumbai on Monday night.

The 26-year-old Pandey who is from Karnataka state has played two T20 internationals, which were against Zimbabwe in Harare in July last year. He has also played four ODIs.
